After successfully completing the first half of our Contempo Winter Salon, which started in early December, we are excited to show handmade jewelry, paintings, photography, limited edition prints as well as drawings, illustrations, functional and sculptural ceramics during the Salon’s second half starting First Friday, January 6th until January 24, 2017. We have many new arrivals including new works by renowned ceramic artist and Kansas Citian Melanie Sherman, photographic still lives by Nicolas Dhervillers from Paris France, oil stick paintings by Kerry Smith and limited and open edition prints by the founder of the Op Art movement Victor Vasarely among others. As usual we’ll have chilled background tunes coming from our very own DJ Deep House Cat and a few other surprises are in store. Learn more

For the first time in the United States a series by renowned French photographer Nicolas Dhervillers will be shown (Transfer Still Life Series). We also have works by photographer and road trip fool by passion Kelly Ludwig and German photographers Thomas Florschuetz and Jeanne Faust.

A series of limited and open edition prints by Op artist Victor Vasarely, mixed media works by Gottfried Salzmann, as well as small photographic works by Kansas City native Aaron Henry and KCAI graduate Anna Minnick, drawings and prints by Olivia Gibb, 2D works by Angelica Sandoval and poster prints by Matt Naquin are on display.
