About This Work

The Cell Mitosis Library series came about because of my previous paintings of the same name and the availability of the book shelf labels from the Museum Store where I worked. These sections were being eliminated in the reduction of books available, and so I was able to recycle them into my ongoing series of book-inspired paintings.
