Salon “Color of the Year – Greenery 15-0343” – March 3rd – April 1st ‘17

Join us this week for our First Friday opening of our new salon “Color of the Year – Greenery 15-0343”. Wake up from hibernation and indulge yourself in works of green reminding you that springtime is around the corner. 2D works include lithographs by Julio Le Parc and Joan Hernandez Pijuan, poster prints featuring iconic images of Andy Warhol and the Saatchi Gallery, as well as photographic works by Nicolas Dhervillers, Anna Minnick and Gregory Crewdson among others. The gallery’s ceramic focus is on sculptural works by Rain Harris as well as functional wares by Ben Bates. Learn more

To celebrate the life of recently deceased artist Akio Takamori, Cerbera Gallery will display a few of his prints including his last lithograph named “Honey Thief” and a playful ceramic piece he made during his time at the Kansas City Art Institute.

Inspired by a current exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, AR, Cerbera Gallery will show video slides, as well as exhibit a signed copy of “Border Cantos: Sight & Sound Explorations from the Mexican-American Border”.

Arrived just in time for our new Salon are works by Xu Shiyuan, Melanie Sherman, Sunshine Cobb, Joanna Powell, Joey Watson and Kensuke Yamada as well as a large selection of jewelry by artists such as Cydney Ross, Sam McPherson, Angelica Sandoval, House of DeBoer, Carly Slade, Jennifer Watson, Jen Wilkenson.

As usual we’ll have chilled background tunes coming from our very own DJ Deep House Cat and will be serving libations and snacks. Our doors will open at 4pm, so make sure you’ll stop by!

First Friday only: 1-3pm and 4-10pm

Wed, Thu, Fri from 1-6pm and Sat from 11-6pm.
