Klaus Basset is a post-war artist born in Berlin, Germany, in 1926. His first exhibition was “Biennale Nürnberg 1969 – Konstruktive Kunst: Elemente und Prinzipien” in Nuremberg, and his most recent was “Die Zukunft Der Zeichnung: Algorithmus Das Neue In Der Sammlung Etzold – Folge 2” at Städtisches Museum Abteiberg in Mönchengladbach in 2018. Primarily exhibited in Germany, Basset has also shown work in the Netherlands, Austria, and across Europe. Notable shows include Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen. His art is part of the Mercedes Benz Art Collection in Berlin.
