Anthony Stellaccio is a freelance artist and scholar educated in both fine art and folklore. A member of the American Folklore Society, the American Ceramic Circle, and the International Academy of Ceramics, Stellaccio is an active artist, writer, and has worked with and for museums in both the USA and Eastern Europe. Most notable among his professional accomplishments are a book on Lithuanian folk pottery and three years spent serving the Smithsonian, National Museum of African Art. Stellaccio writes frequently for Ceramics Monthly, Ceramics Art and Perception, and for Ferrin Contemporary. Stellaccio was born in Muncie, Indiana in 1978 and currently lives in no place in particular.
