Wolfram Erber (1939-2020)

Wolfram Erber was born in Berlin and lived in Berlin since 1972 after spending his childhood and youth in Munich and a year in Paris. In addition to his graphic work, he also created light and sound installations, musical and scenic works as well as graphic scores, which he performed in Berlin, the USA and Japan. He had longer stays in San Francisco and New York, where a one-year work grant at PS1, combined with an exhibition, took him. He had his first solo exhibition in Munich in 1965, followed by numerous solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Leverkusen, Cologne, Innsbruck, Graz, Milan, Zurich, Dublin and New York.
