Nicolas Gadbois is a public artist, painter, and teacher living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He earned his MFA in painting from Vermont College of Fine Arts. In 2012 he was awarded the public art mural commission for the University of New Mexico in Los Alamos.

In 2008 he completed a large public art commission for the Tri Cities Cancer Center in Kennewick, Washington. He has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and Santa Fe. His work is included in many private and corporate collection.
