Growing up in the country embedded a deep love for the beauty of the natural world. The small moments growing up: stargazing, sipping nectar from clover flowers, wandering through the woods, the stillness of the lake, my first time with the oceans, the majestic sky with its ever changing composition have been profoundly impactful.

My 18 year career as a personal stylist is also present in my work in that color, shine, pattern, shape and texture were my tools and the body my canvas. I tend to approach a painting by building layers of these elements.

Taking everything I’ve ever done, my experiences in nature and some training with extremely talented artists have gotten me here today.

My art has been described as “tangible joy” which meets my goal to paint with joy and bring that to the world. I hope you enjoy viewing as much as I do making.
