Description : I view imagery and the symbolism of snakes as a rebirth, a reinvention to a better self. The shedding of old to make way for new. The beauty and grace of nature always inspire me. The compartmentalizing of the flowers is a backlash against the idea of nature ever being limited or reduced to humanity’s containment of nature. The push and pull of containment and freedom is ever present in our human experience and I use nature as a way to illustrate this notion.
